Blue Shield Meetings

The Blue Shield holds a General Assembly every three years, if possible: the next one should be held in 2020. In addition, a number of general meetings may be held between these General Assemblies. You can read more about these meetings on our Meetings page.

Some of these meetings resulted in Declarations and Charters which are also available in our Document Library.

Here you can download the meeting reports.

The representatives from ICBS and National Blue Shield committees met in The Hague on September 27 and 28 to discuss and agree on the most effective way to support the new International Committee for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict, established under the Second Protocol of the 1954 Hague Convention, and agreed upon the creation of a new body – the Association of National Committees of the Blue Shield – and agreed a distribution of responsibilities.
