BS France has been extremely active in carrying out training for its members and external partners and agencies – including in Armenia. Some examples include:

    • The President of the Blue Shield France accompanied by the Secretary General and an expert from the Ministry of Culture led the second disaster management exercise held on October 3 at the National Library of Yerevan in Armenia. This exercise finishes the PSBC training started in March 2022 thanks to the partnership of the National Heritage Institute, the Embassy of France in Armenia and the Armenian Ministry of Culture. This exercise made it possible to train about fifty people in the backup plan and disaster management.
    • The Atlantic section organised a training course for its members on crisis management in the event of a disaster and its practical application, on 27 September 2023 at the Bordeaux Métropole archives.
    • Under the aegis of the services of the Prefect of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, Prefect of the Gironde, a major level 3 fire exercise took place on Thursday morning, October 12, 2023 in the Saint André Cathedral of Bordeaux. It brought together a large number of actors: firefighters from SDIS 33 (Gironde), agents of the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs (DRAC) Nouvelle Aquitaine, agents of the town hall of Bordeaux, representatives of the clergy, and six members of the Blue Shield France, whose role was to support the various actions and to ensure the smooth running of the exercise in the intervention zone, the fallback zone and in the treatment zone.
    • The Initial training of operational managers of the Blue Shield France is taking place this week from Monday 27 November to Friday 1 December 2023 in Albi. This training, this sharing of experience, originates from a partnership initiated at the beginning of 2020, between the Civil Protection of Tarn and the Blue Shield France. Noting a commitment where common values intersect, the two associations wanted to share their know-how. It forms part of the part of the Civil Security accreditation of BS France.
