بيان تضامن مع لبنان ودعم لاستعادة التراث الثقافي المتضرر في بيروت
Working closely with the international community to provide advice and guidance on protecting the damaged cultural heritage of Beirut, we support the Statement of Solidarity with Lebanon.
Our hearts and minds are with the people of Beirut.
We wish to express our solidarity with the Lebanese people for the tragedy that has struck the city of Beirut. We are saddened by these events and we send our condolences for the loss of lives and our shared concern for the scale of material destruction.
As members and practitioners of the heritage protection community, we have worked for decades alongside the Lebanese people to safeguard and preserve the nation’s unique cultural heritage. We remain by your side to continue our collective work during these challenging times.
Damaged libraries, museums, and historic buildings will require cultural first aid and longer-term recovery interventions. Their collections will need urgent protection and salvaging. We pledge to do all that we can to contribute to the complete recovery of the heritage that has been damaged in Beirut by this blast.

Nous tenons à exprimer notre solidarité avec le peuple libanais pour la tragédie qui a frappé la ville de Beyrouth. Nous sommes très attristés par ces événements et nous adressons au Liban nos condoléances pour les pertes en vies humaines et exprimons notre commune préoccupation face à l’ampleur des destructions matérielles.
En tant que membres de la communauté culturelle et praticiens de la protection du patrimoine, nous travaillons depuis des décennies aux côtés du peuple libanais pour sauvegarder et préserver le patrimoine culturel unique de cette nation. Nous sommes à ses côtés pour poursuivre notre travail collectif en ces temps difficiles.
Les bibliothèques, les musées et les bâtiments historiques endommagés nécessiteront des interventions de premiers secours aussi bien que des opérations de réhabilitation de plus long terme. Leurs collections devront être protégées et sauvegardées en priorité. Nous nous engageons à faire tout ce qui est en notre pouvoir pour contribuer à la réhabilitation complète du patrimoine de Beyrouth endommagé par l’explosion.

نود أن نعرب عن تضامننا مع الشعب اللبناني بعد المأساة التي حلَّت بمدينة بيروت. وإننا نشعر بالحزن حيال هذه الأحداث ونعرب عن تعازينا للبنان جراء الخسائر المأساوية في الأرواح وقلقنا المشترك بشأن حجم الدمار المادي.
بصفتنا أعضاء وممارسين في مجال حماية التراث، فقد عملنا على مدى عقود جنبًا إلى جنب مع الشعب اللبناني لحماية تراثه الثقافي الفريد والحفاظ عليه. وسنظل بجانبكم لمواصلة عملنا المشترك خلال هذه الأوقات العصيبة.
