On 11th September BS Germany’s President Susann Harder spoke about the importance of emergency preparedness for cultural assets including architectural heritage, at the closing event of Open Monument Day in Berlin.

A few days later, from the 24th to the 27th of September The Future is Heritage Summit took place in Prague. The event was organised by The Future is Heritage (FisH), an international network of young people working in the field of heritage. On the second day of the conference, BS Germany’s Vice President, Elisabeth Korinth led a session on heritage in conflict, looking at the impact of war on heritage with a focus on Ukraine. The session also looked at the role of international organisations in heritage protection.
