Georgian National Committee of the Blue Shield attended “Partner – 2023”, an inter-agency field training by the National Guard of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia in July.
Within the framework of the training, a disaster scenario was played out, the Blue Shield team played the role of an observer in the process of evacuating movable monuments of cultural heritage from a simulated archaeological site.
This is the third time that the Blue Shield team has participated in such training. In 2021, at the invitation of the same agency, the Blue Shield team took part in the field exercise ‘Paldo – 2021’ in Kakheti, and in 2022 in the exercise ‘Racha – 2022’.
