Blue Shield 2020 General Assembly Postponed

Blue Shield 2020 General Assembly Postponed

It is with great regret that the Blue Shield International Board announces that they have taken the decision to postpone the Blue Shield 2020 General Assembly.

The decision was taken following extensive consultation with the Czech Republic National Committee, who are the organising committee. Following the discussions, the BSI Board agreed that the General Assembly and associated 3-day training course, due to be held in Prague in November 2020, must be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in order to ensure the best General Assembly for all our members.

The Board are working closely with the Czech committee to identify suitable dates in the Spring/Summer of 2021 to hold the postponed meetings – watch this space for more information. National committees will be contacted as soon as more information is available about new dates, the paperwork for the General Assembly, and about elections.

We wish you all the best in these difficult times, and look forward to seeing you in Prague next year.
